Mark Piland, owner and founder of Chexpert Inc., has been an attorney for over 20 years and licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. His undergraduate work was in Accounting at the University of Texas (BBA '85) and Law Degree from Texas Tech University (JD ''87). He practices in a general law practice in Granbury Texas where Chexpert is located. He was also an elected prosecutor in Mitchell County, Texas from 1991 to 2001. He has nearly 20 years experience collecting bad checks and has been bonded and licensed in several states as a collector. Mark Piland was one of the founding members in the Colorado City Rotary club in 1988, is a Paul Harris Fellow, and currently a member of the Granbury Rotary Club. He plays in the band at Lakeside Baptist Church and is married with three children.
